Are there any MUST SEE places in Indonesia and Malaysia?
We're off on another adventure. We're flying in and out of New Delhi. Arriving on the 9th of December and leaving on the 28th. We will be spending from the 15th of Jan to the 28th of Jan in India which leaves us with about a month in other parts of Asia.
We are divers and we are thinking of spending a week on the Andaman Islands. But for the rest we're trying to figure out where to go. Flights are obviously cheap for KL and Singapore, and possibly not too expensive for Bali, Jakarta.
We both like animals, nature, diving, beaches, cities, markets, temples, and we like to meet locals,.... I know it's very vague. I would like to point out that we never like to be too far from a beach especially in tropical heat. And we won't be carrying any "warmer" clothes with us for cooler weather.
The only other restraint is that we are on a bit of a budget, but I think that it's not much of a problem in most of these areas. Right?
If anyone has any "other" suggestions, like Borneo or Brunei or anywhere else in the area we're open!!
