Trott and Broad save England with record stand

Trott and Broad save England with record stand

Jonathan Trott and Stuart Broad hit centuries at Lord's on Friday to save England with a record eighth-wicket stand after Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir had blown away the early batting in the fourth and final test.

Trott batted all day to reach 149 not out, adding 244 with Broad (125 not out) to lead England to 346 for seven in their first innings at the close of the second day.

Broad, in an innings of genuine quality, scored his maiden test century and the first by an England number eight since John Murray against West Indies in 1966.

His partnership with Broad is an England record for the eighth wicket against Pakistan, and the second highest against any country.

The hosts, 2-1 up in the series, were reduced to 47 for five in the morning session after resuming on 39 for one. Only 12.3 overs were bowled on Thursday

Eighteen-year-old Amir picked up six for 73 in 23 outstanding overs. He took four wickets in eight balls without conceding a run from the Pavilion end, dismissing Alastair Cook (10) and Kevin Pietersen (0) caught behind from consecutive deliveries.

Paul Collingwood was then trapped lbw for a duck and Eoin Morgan was smartly caught at second slip by Yasir Hameed, also without scoring.

It was the first time the England number four, five and six had failed to score in a test innings.

Amir became the youngest player to capture 50 test wickets when Matt Prior was caught behind for 22 from the fourth delivery after lunch.

Graeme Swann was then caught in the gully by Azhar Ali off Amir for yet another duck.

England, on 102 for seven, were in danger of succumbing for fewer runs than their previous lowest score of 130 against Pakistan.

Instead Trott and Broad combined in a memorable partnership which flourished as the Pakistan bowlers tired and the sun finally broke through to sap any remaining moisture from the pitch.

Trott moved confidently on to the front foot to drive through the covers and the mid-wicket area while Broad played like a top-order batsman.

He flicked Amir for a six over square-leg and played the shot of the day with a blazing off-drive from the same bowler.

Trott, who scored 226 in the Lord's test against Bangladesh this year, reached his century, courtesy of overthrows which raced to the boundary, in five minutes short of five hours with 13 fours.

Broad surpassed his previous highest test score of 76 and moved serenely to his hundred from 159 balls with nine

Ali packs a punch against England

Pakistan Cricket BoardImage via Wikipedia

Azhar Ali's Test-best 92 put Pakistan in a strong position against England at the close of the second day of the third Test at The Oval here on Thursday.

And before stumps there was still time for Pakistan to dismiss England captain Andrew Strauss (four), caught at second slip by Yasir Hameed off left-arm quick Mohammad Aamer.

England closed on six for one in their second innings, 69 runs behind, with struggling opener Alastair Cook nought not out and nightwatchman James Anderson unbeaten on two.

Ali's innings was the cornerstone of Pakistan's 308, which gave them a first innings lead of 75.

Pakistan's poor catching had been a key factor in their falling 2-0 behind in this four-match series.

But on Thursday it was England who paid the price for missing a routine chance when Strauss, at first slip, put down Mohammad Asif when the No 11 was on four and Ali on 66.

Pakistan were then 278 for nine but, with Ali seizing on anything either over-pitched or short from Stuart Broad, the last-wicket pair added 38 runs.

The 25-year-old Ali's second fifty in five matches at this level, after he made 51 in Pakistan's three-wicket win over Australia at Headingley last month, was not a lone hand.

Veteran batsman and former captain Mohammad Yousuf marked his return to international cricket with a well-made 56 before he became Graeme Swann's 100th Test wicket, having put on 69 with Ali.

Former captain Yousuf was playing his first Test since January following the overturning of an "indefinite ban" imposed by the Pakistan Cricket Board after he led the side on their winless tour of Australia.

But shortly before tea he drove too early at a Swann delivery and was caught and bowled to end a 108-ball stay featuring eight boundaries.

It meant Swann had taken his 100th wicket in 23 Tests.

He was the third quickest off-spinner to the landmark behind India's Erapalli Prasanna (20 Tests) and South Africa's Hugh Tayfield (22).

Umar Akmal elegantly late cut medium-pacer Paul Collingwood for four to give Pakistan a first innings lead.

But next ball, setting off for a single that was never on, he was run out by Eoin Morgan's direct under-arm hit from cover for 38 featuring four fours and a straight six off Swann.

Ali and Umar Akmal put on 57 for the sixth wicket.

Kamran Akmal and Mohammad Aamer then both fell cheaply to Broad, bowling with the new ball.

Ali, on 62 when Asif came in, was left just short of a maiden Test hundred when the seamer drove Swann straight to Anderson at mid-off.

Swann led England's attack with four wickets for 68 runs in 27.2 overs.

Pakistan, bowled out for record low scores against England of 80 and 72 in crushing defeats by 354 runs and nine wickets in the first and second Tests respectively, had failed to add to their overnight score of 48 for one when recalled opener Hameed was caught behind off Finn.

Swann also struck with his second ball on Thursday when Pakistan captain Salman Butt, in at No 4 after previously opening this series, was caught by wicketkeeper Matt Prior at the third attempt after edging an intended cut.

The off-spinner then removed stubborn nightwatchman Wahab Riaz for 27 when the impressive debutant, who took five wickets on Wednesday, was lbw on the sweep to the first ball of Swann's second spell.

But Ali and Yousuf made sure Riaz's two hours of resistance was worthwhile.

US Marines arrive to help Pakistan flood survivors

A shipload of U.S. Marines and helicopters arrived to boost relief efforts in flooded Pakistan on Thursday, but the prime minister told The Associated Press his country needs more international help to cope with one of the worst natural disasters in its history.
The United Nations warned the crisis was far from over, saying dams in Sindh province could still burst in the coming days. More rain fell around the country, and monsoon season is forecast to last several weeks still.
Spokesman Maurizio Giuliano said U.N. officials roughly estimated that up to one-fourth of the country is or had been affected by the floods, though those areas were not necessarily under water.
The government has been sharply criticized for a slow and patchy response to the floods, which has killed 1,500 people left and left an estimated 7 million people needing emergency assistance, their homes destroyed, damaged or inundated with muddy water and unlivable.
President Asif Ali Zardari — whose decision to go ahead with a trip to Europe when the disaster began was condemned by many — made his first visit to victims of the disaster on Thursday, according to state-run Pakistan Television that gave few details of the trip.
The United States has pledged $71 million in emergency assistance to the country, which is key in the fight against al-Qaida and the Taliban as well as stabilizing neighboring Afghanistan. It has also deployed the military to help, as it often does after major disasters.
The USS Peleliu arrived off the coast near Karachi on Thursday along with helicopters and about 1,000 Marines.
The helicopters will fly to flood-hit areas and rescue stranded people and deliver food and other supplies.
An Associated Press reporter flew with Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani over parts of Punjab, Sindh and Baluchistan provinces. Seen from the air, the extent of the disaster was clear, with the aircraft often flying for many minutes over a mostly flooded landscape.
"All I say is that we need more help from our international friends," he said. "We need more such helicopters because the magnitude of the destruction was far more" the earlier government assessments.
"I also urge my own countrymen and women to help their brothers and sisters," he said.
Flood survivors already short on food and water began the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan, a normally festive, social time marked this year by misery and fears of an uncertain future.
While millions of flood-affected people were performing the fast, Mufti Muneebur Rehman, one of the country's top religious scholars, said victims living in difficult conditions dependent on charity could skip the fast and perform it later in the year.
"I cannot disobey God, so I am fasting as it is part of my faith no matter what the conditions are," said Fazal Rabi, 47, who was staying in a tent village in Akbarpura in the northwest, where many people are especially devout.

Asif Ali Zardari

Asif Zardari
Mr Zardari was nicknamed 'Mr 10%'
Asif Ali Zardari has long been one of Pakistan's most controversial political figures and yet he has risen to its most powerful office - the presidency.
Since becoming Pakistan's president in September 2008, Mr Zardari has presided over an increasingly fragile country, a growing militant threat, possible economic meltdown and mounting political instability.
Among the many opponents ranged against him are a number of estranged former allies, who include one of the country's most popular politicians, Nawaz Sharif.
Mr Zardari has negotiated many a dramatic turn since his marriage 20 years ago to the charismatic former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
He was thrust into centre stage of current political developments when Ms Bhutto was assassinated in December 2007.
Since then he has led her Pakistan People's Party (PPP) through successful general elections and worked with former political enemies to force President Pervez Musharraf to resign.
Prison sentences
And yet, before Ms Bhutto's death, Mr Zardari's public image was so bad that the PPP kept him out of the public eye as much as possible during the campaigning for national elections in February 2008. Mr Zardari was seen as a political liability.
He spent several years in jail on charges of corruption. He was labelled "Mr 10%".
Benazir Bhutto
Benazir Bhutto's death propelled Mr Zardari on to centre stage
He found himself in major trouble in 1990 when he was accused, among other things, of tying a remote-controlled bomb to the leg of a businessman and sending him into a bank to withdraw money from his account as a pay-off.
Those charges were never proved. The PPP had then accused the country's powerful intelligence apparatus of maligning Mr Zardari to damage Ms Bhutto's image.
In 1993, when then President Ghulam Ishaq Khan sacked the government of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Mr Zardari was escorted from the prison straight to the presidency where he was sworn in as a minister in the interim government.
Later, the PPP won the 1993 elections, and Mr Zardari moved with his wife to the Prime Minister House in Islamabad where he lived for the next three years.
In 1996, when another president sacked the PPP government, he was arrested and charged with a number of offences including the murder of Mir Murtaza Bhutto, his wife's brother.
He was later charged, along with his wife, and convicted in a kickbacks scam involving a Swiss company, SGS.
But a mistrial was declared by Pakistan's Supreme Court following a major scandal involving the accountability bureau and the judge who had issued the verdict.
Pakistan's judiciary has not had a reputation for acting independently of the government when it comes to high-profile cases, especially of a political nature.
His last prison sentence lasted eight years until 2004, during which time he says he was tortured.
It ended as the then General Musharraf was engaged in protracted negotiations with Benazir Bhutto, then in self-imposed exile, for some form of political reconciliation.
'Personal bravery'
Mr Zardari resolutely stood by his party as well as his wife - although at times he disagreed with the politics of both.
His friends say this was entirely in character and that no-one can deny his personal courage.
A close friend recounts an incident in the 1980s when he was still a polo-playing and horse-riding bachelor.
"We were on a cross-country ride in Karachi when one of our company, the daughter of a German diplomat, fell into a bog with her horse.
"There were 40 of us. We all stood around stunned except for this one man, Asif Ali Zardari, who jumped in and pulled out the girl and then the horse as well.
"During all this time, he could have drowned at any time himself."
'Fall guy'
Asif Ali Khan Zardari was born in Karachi to Hakim Ali Zardari, head of one of the "lesser" Sindhi tribes, who chose the urban life over rustic surroundings.
Asif grew up in Karachi and was educated at St Patrick's School - ironically also the alma mater of Pervez Musharraf.
Pakistani lawyers
Pakistani lawyers have led protests against President Zardari
His father did relatively well - the young Zardari's main claim to fame was that he had a private disco at home, helping him gain the reputation as a "playboy".
When he married Benazir, the icon of the anti-establishment cause in Pakistan, he became "the designated fall guy", a close family friend says.
"Zardari knew this and accepted it. He walked into the marriage knowing it would always be about her, and never about him."
After his release from prison in 2004, Mr Zardari kept a low profile, undergoing medical treatment in the US.
He suffers from diabetes and a spinal ailment which prevents him from moving around without the help of a walking stick.
He also worked to re-establish his relationship with his children after years of separation.
Benazir appreciated her husband's loyalty, knowing that "despite his failings, he always stood by his family no matter what", one of her confidants says.
This was on display following Ms Bhutto's assassination, when he kept the family together.
He forcefully rejected demands for a rebellion against the government, saying the integrity of Pakistan was sacred to the PPP.
But in recent months he has been accused both from within and outside the PPP of promoting his own cronies at the expense of party veterans who had stood by Mrs Bhutto through thick and thin.

Lady Gaga

http://image3.examiner.com/images/blog/replicate/EXID43432/images/Lady-Gaga-jet-1(2).jpg
When Lady Gaga was a little girl, she would sing along on her mini plastic tape recorder to Michael Jackson and Cyndi Lauper hits and get twirled in the air in daddy’s arms to the sounds of the Rolling Stones and the Beatles. The precocious child would dance around the table at fancy Upper West Side restaurants using the breadsticks as a baton. And, she would innocently greet a new babysitter in nothing but her birthday suit.
It’s no wonder that little girl from a good Italian New York family, turned into the exhibitionist, multi-talented singer-songwriter with a flair for theatrics that she is today: Lady Gaga.
“I was always an entertainer. I was a ham as a little girl and I’m a ham today,” says Lady Gaga, 23, who made a name for herself on the Lower East Side club scene with the infectious dance-pop party song “Beautiful Dirty Rich,” and wild, theatrical, and often tongue-in-cheek “shock art” performances where Gaga – who designs and makes many of her stage outfits -- would strip down to her hand-crafted hot pants and bikini top, light cans of hairspray on fire, and strike a pose as a disco ball lowered from the ceiling to the orchestral sounds of A Clockwork Orange.
“I always loved rock and pop and theater. When I discovered Queen and David Bowie is when it really came together for me and I realized I could do all three,” says Gaga, who nicked her name from Queen’s song “Radio Gaga” and who cites rock star girlfriends, Peggy Bundy, and Donatella Versace as her fashion icons. “I look at those artists as icons in art. It’s not just about the music. It’s about the performance, the attitude, the look; it’s everything. And, that is where I live as an artist and that is what I want to accomplish.”
That goal might seem lofty, but consider the artist: Gaga is the girl who at age 4 learned piano by ear. By age 13, she had written her first piano ballad. At 14, she played open mike nights at clubs such as New York’s the Bitter End by night and was teased for her quirky, eccentric style by her Convent of the Sacred Heart School (the Manhattan private school Nicky and Paris Hilton attended) classmates by day. At age 17, she became was one of 20 kids in the world to get early admission to Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. Signed by her 20th birthday and writing songs for other artists (such as the Pussycat Dolls, and has been asked to write for a series of Interscope artists) before her debut album was even released, Lady Gaga has earned the right to reach for the sky.
“My goal as an artist is to funnel a pop record to a world in a very interesting way,” says Gaga, who wrote all of her lyrics, all of her melodies, and played most of the synth work on her album, The Fame (Streamline/KonLive/Interscope). “I almost want to trick people into hanging with something that is really cool with a pop song. It’s almost like the spoonful of sugar and I’m the medicine.”
On The Fame, it’s as if Gaga took two parts dance-pop, one part electro-pop, and one part rock with a splash of disco and burlesque and generously poured it into the figurative martini glasses of the world in an effort to get everyone drunk with her Fame. “The Fame is about how anyone can feel famous,” she explains. “Pop culture is art. It doesn’t make you cool to hate pop culture, so I embraced it and you hear it all over The Fame. But, it’s a sharable fame. I want to invite you all to the party. I want people to feel a part of this lifestyle.”
The CD’s opener and first single, “Just Dance,” gets the dance floor rocking with it’s “fun, L.A., celebratory vibe.” As for the equally catchy, “Boys Boys Boys,” Gaga doesn’t mind wearing her influences on her sleeve. “I wanted to write the female version of Motley Crue’s ‘Girls Girls Girls,’ but with my own twist. I wanted to write a pop song that rockers would like.”
“Beautiful Dirty Rich” sums up her time of self-discovery, living in the Lower East Side and dabbling in drugs and the party scene. “That time, and that song, was just me trying to figure things out,” says Gaga. “Once I grabbed the reigns of my artistry, I fell in love with that more than I did with the party life.” On first listen, “Paparazzi” might come off as a love song to cameras, and in all honestly, Gaga jokes “on one level it IS about wooing the paparazzi and wanting fame. But, it’s not to be taken completely seriously. It’s about everyone’s obsession with that idea. But, it’s also about wanting a guy to love you and the struggle of whether you can have success or love or both.”
Gaga shows her passion for love songs on such softer tracks as the Queen-influenced “Brown Eyes” and the sweet kiss-off break-up song “Nothing I can Say (eh eh).” “‘Brown Eyes’ is the most vulnerable song on the album,” she explains. “‘Eh Eh’ is my simple pop song about finding someone new and breaking up with the old boyfriend.”
For the new tour for this album, fans will be treated to a more polished version of what they saw (and loved) at her critically acclaimed Lollapalooza show in August 2007 and Winter Music Conference performance in March 2008. “This new show is the couture version of my handmade downtown performance of the past few years. It’s more fine-tuned, but some of my favorite elements to my past shows – the disco balls, hot pants, sequin, and stilettos – will still be there. Just more fierce and more of a conceptual show with a vision for pop performance art.”
It’s been a while since a new pop artist has made her way in the music industry the old-fashioned/grass roots way by paying her dues with seedy club gigs and self-promotion. This is one rising pop star who hasn’t been plucked from a model casting call, born into a famous family, won a reality TV singing contest, or emerged from a teen cable TV sitcom. “I did this the way you are supposed to. I played every club in New York City and I bombed in every club and then killed it in every club and I found myself as an artist. I learned how to survive as an artist, get real, and how to fail and then figure out who I was as singer and performer. And, I worked hard.”
Gaga adds with a wink in her eye, “And, now, I’m just trying to change the world one sequin at a time.”

Lindsay Lohan: Makes friends in prison

Actress Lindsay Lohan has reportedly made friends while incarcerated at the Lynwood Correctional Facility.

The 24-year-old, who was jailed for violating probation terms of a 2007 DUI case last week, has become acquainted with a few of her cellmates, according to Lohan's attorney Shawn Chapman Holley.

It was recently reported that Lohan could be released some time this week, due to overcrowding and having served the minimum 14 days of her 90-day jail sentence.

Cameron Diaz: Getting married for life is "bullshit"

Hollywood popular actress Cameron Diaz has romanced the likes of Justin Timberlake, Matt Dillon, Jared Leto and current beau Alex Rodriguez -- but she's not looking for the love of her life. In fact, she isn't sure there is such a thing.

"I think the big misconception in our society is that we're supposed to meet the one when we're 18 and we're supposed to get married to them and love them for the rest of our lives. Bulls**t," she told UK's Stylist magazine (via Huffington Post).

The Knight and Day star, who turns 38 next month, has never been married, despite engagements to Leto and Dillon. She and Yankee slugger Rodriguez have been photographed together for months but have not publicly discussed their romantic status.

"Who would want to be with the same person for 80 years? Why not break it up a little bit?" Diaz tells Stylist.

"I think people get freaked out about getting married and spending 20 or 30 years sleeping with the same person, but if that's the case, don't do it."

Cameron's alternate advice: "Have someone for five years and another person for another five years... Life is long and lucky and yes, love might last forever, but you don't always live with the person you love forever."

Cameron Diaz and Timberlake called it quits after four years together back in 2007. She told Playboy last month, "in the past three years I've made a conscious decision not to be in a relationship for as long as I want."

As of 2008, Forbes claims Diaz to have earned $50 million last year, after receiving this salary for What Happens in Vegas making her the highest paid actress and Hispanic in Hollywood.
Diaz was born in San Diego, California, the daughter of Billie (née Early), an import-export agent, and the late Emilio Diaz, who worked for UNOCAL a California oil company as a Field Gauger and in the pipeline department for twenty plus years until he retired in 1998. After graduating from high school, she went to work in Japan and met video director Carlo de la Torre. On her return to America, she moved in with him. For the next few years, her modeling took her around the world, working for contracts with major companies. She modelled for designers such as Calvin Klein and Levi's. She also graced the cover of the July 1990 issue of Seventeen magazine.
At 21, Diaz auditioned for The Mask. Even though she had no previous acting experience, after obtaining the lead female role, she immediately started acting lessons. Over the next three years, she won roles in low-budget, independent films, such as The Last Supper, Feeling Minnesota, and She's the One. She then regained mainstream success with her roles in My Best Friend's Wedding and There's Something About Mary, a film for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe for in the category of Best Actress - Musical . In 2003, Diaz received another Golden Globe nomination for Martin Scorsese's epic Gangs of New York, and became the second actress (after Wedding costar Julia Roberts) to earn $20 million for a role, receiving the sum for Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle. Diaz dated actor Matt Dillon from 1995 to 1998. She is also the ex-fiancée of actor Jared Leto. They had a low-profile relationship from 1998 to 2002. Reports have said that they broke up because Diaz was concentrating more on her acting as Leto was more concerned about his band.
Most recently, Diaz dated former *NSYNC member Justin Timberlake, whom she met at the Kids' Choice Awards in 2003. The pair issued a joint statement on January 11, 2007, announcing they had broken up, following weeks of breakup rumors.
In October 2004, Diaz and Timberlake were in an altercation with a tabloid photographer outside a hotel. When the photographer and another man tried to photograph them, the couple snatched the camera. Pictures of the incident appeared in US Weekly. Representatives for the pair claimed that they were "ambushed" and acting out of self-defense.
Diaz has publicly admitted that she has obsessive-compulsive disorder, is deeply germophobic and habitually rubs doorknobs so hard before opening doors to clean them that the original paint fades afterwards. She says she washes her hands and floors "many times" each day and uses her elbows to push open doors. Diaz commented on her progress with the disorder on May 10, 2007, saying, "I think I've made my peace with it".
Diaz received "substantial" defamation damages from suing American Media Incoporated, after The National Enquirer had claimed she was cheating on then-boyfriend Timberlake. Diaz also sued successfully to stop the publication of bondage-themed nude photos taken of her before she became famous.
When Diaz was asked if she can speak Spanish she said:
I go, "God, you know, it all sounds so familiar. I know what you're saying, I really do. I just cannot respond to you back in Spanish. I can barely speak English properly." I didn't grow up in a Cuban or Latin community. I grew up in Southern California on the beach, basically. And I'm third generation. I'm of Cuban descent, but I'm American.
Diaz is currently represented by Creative Artists Agency.
In September 2004, Diaz created some controversy after her appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show. The show in question, concerned celebrities encouraging young people to vote in the upcoming Presidential election. While Diaz was sitting next to her Charlie's Angels co-star Drew Barrymore, Christina Aguilera, and hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, Diaz gave the ominous warning "Women have so much to lose. I mean, we could lose the right to our bodies. We could lo--if you think that rape should be legal, then don't vote. But if you think that you have a right to your body, and you have a right to say what happens to you and fight off that danger of losing that, then you should vote." Several pundits like talk show host Laura Ingraham alleged that Diaz was trying to disguise her scare tactic-like statement as another way of saying that if you didn't vote for Democratic challenger John Kerry, a victorious President George W. Bush would somehow try to ban the right to have a legal abortion. The actress was vocal in her support for Al Gore in 2000. Diaz went so far as sporting a t-shirt that read "I won't vote for a son of a Bush!" while making publicity for Charlie's Angels.
On April 15, 2008, her father, Emilio Diaz, died of pneumonia, aged 58.

    Murree Heven in Pakistan

    Murree
One of the most visiting hill station of Pakistan, Murree, and I name it “City in Clouds”. For those who live in Lahore or downwards to it till Karachi; Murree is like a fantasy city. Mountains covered with lush green trees, cold atmosphere, fresh air, beautiful valleys and most importantly clouds on the roads hugging you with full of happiness.
Reason of being most visiting hill station is its approach. It is almost two hours drive from our capital city Islamabad. Roads are broad and safe. It is 7500 feet above sea level and besides the beautiful natural environment to enjoy, it has other stuff of entertainment too.

    The Mall Road:

A road full of life, hotels, restaurants, handicraft shops and happy faces. It needs a separate full length post but in short most of the people who visits Murree, get their rooms on Mall road. This is the place where people just walk till 2am or 3am in morning and enjoy the beautiful weather.
It has bazaar downstairs, like 10 feet below the main Mall road. This is a place of shopping for visitors. Mall road is used to walk around and to have food (Oh I love this part)

    Pindi Point:

Pindi point is 15 minutes walk from mall road. It has a beautiful view of valleys and mountains. You can see Pindi city from there. There is a chair lift at Pindi point which we friends don’t use to ride on. We friends go to Patriata for chair lift ride which is lot more entertaining and safer.

    Kashmir Point:

If we leave Mall road from other end and walk for fifteen minutes then it will lead us to Kashmir point. It has a beautiful sight seeing. You can see Kashmir mountains from this point. It is the highest spot in Murree and due to increasing rush on Mall road; this point is taking visitor’s attention day by day.
Now it has a long bazaar, a joy land and lots of eating places. Most of the visitors came to ease down and relax in Murree and need a quite place to live so they prefer to book a room in Kashmir point instead of Mall road.

    Patriata:

PatriataThis is famous due to chair lift, which worth a ride. A ticket of Rs. 200/- gives you first a chair lift ride from one point to another. From that point you sit in a cable car which took you to another mountain where you have much stuff to do. Look at the picture for all stuff available there. Then after spending beautiful moments with nature’s beauty have a cable car and then chair lift ride back.
You can’t stay there for long. I think last cable car is at 5 pm which take every visitor back. At that time a person goes all the way whistling to check if there is any one left and then take last cable car. I asked him what happens if someone missed it, someone left behind, ain’t there any space to spend night there? so he said ‘it never happened before and there is no place to spend night over there’. However I’ve seen some huts but it would be for those local people which have shops on that mountain.
One more entertainment there which most of people love to do is horse riding however we friends prefer to walk with nature.

    River Neelam:

River NeelamIt is a nice place to have a picnic. People use to have snack and lunch at the corner of this river or sometimes in it like in the picture. One can feel the cold wind and cool water which tends to be the best thing in summer. This part of river neelam is considered in Azad Kashmir. This is how far I’ve seen Azad Kashmir till now, I’ll go further soon INSHALLAH.
We also enjoy the journey to this river Neelam: Mountains covered with lush green trees and high slopes of mountains creates an eye catching view. One don’t get to know the time if enjoying this cool wind and water there.

    Bhurban:

People use to visit Pearl Continental Hotel Bhurban which is on beautiful location. It has rooms starting from Rs. 10,ooo/- per day which changes according to season. It has an entry fee of Rs. 300/- which you can spend in the hotel in any activity. I do on eating food but you can also watch movie in their mini cinema. There is also a open air theater and a Helicopter Pad which has a beautiful valley view.

    Good Bye Murree

In summer season it is like the best place to visit. We friends definitely go to Murree in every summer to get away with this sweaty atmosphere of Lahore’s July / August and feel the fresh cold air at its most. We try to fill our lungs with this freshness so that we can remain fresh for rest of days but sadly to say that it longs until we don’t take a road down to city. From that moment on we start missing Murree; its freshness, its cold atmosphere, its happiness and overall ambiance of this fantasy city which is in clouds.

7 Best Things To see in Bali

Bali is one of the most popular island destinations in the world especially for honeymooners. The island's varied landscape of hills and rice terraces, beaches and volcanic sites has made this paradise a perfect holidays to choose. My trip to Bali with my colleagues gave me an answer why people love to spend their holidays here. There are so many things to see and to do in this 'Island of the Gods'.Below I listed down some of the best things to see in Bali that totally based on my personal experience and opinion.

    1. Sunset/sunrise

Once in Bali, watching the sunset and sunrise is a must.I believe that everyone who has been to Bali agreed that the sunset and sunrise at Bali offer such a magnificient view if the weather allows. The famous tourist spot to watch the sunset is at the Tanah Lot.I arrived there around 6pm and watched the sun went down and slowly disappeared in front of my eyes. The sky was orange in colour that created a romantic moment and a breathtaking panorama of the surrounding. While for sunrise, i catched it at the Jinbaran Beach nearby the hotel.I didn't regret to wake up very early in the morning just to see the spectacular sunrise moment.

    2. Cultural Dances

Bali is renowned for its variety of cultural dances. As majority of the Bali's population adheres to Hinduism, the balinese dances are often influenced from the Hindu epics such as Ramayana.I have the chance to watch two Balinese dances when i was in Bali. Those are the Kecak Dance and the Barong Dance.I really enjoyed the Kecak Dance performance as it was performed by a group of men sitting in circle and repeatedly chant 'kechak cak' where indirectly become a background music of the show.

    3. Paddy Terrace

Looking at the lush-greenery of paddy terrace at Tegallalang is actually a good therapy to relax our mind and to exercise our eyes.Surrounded by cool atmosphere due to it's location at the hillside, paddy terrace area in Tegallalang provide a picturesque panorama and fresh air suitable for relaxing. My short break at the area make me feel so calm and peace. This is one common view and one attraction not to be missed when visiting Bali.

    4. Volcanic Site

As Indonesia lies along the Pacific Ring of Fire, Bali is no exception to experience a series of earthquake and volcanic eruption. Two famous active volcanoes to see in Bali are Mount Agung and Mount Batur. My journey by mini bus to Kintamani, where the Mount Batur lies left an unforgettable memory as it was my first time visiting the volcanic site. The surrounding is cold and awesome with the Mountain stand still seems ready to explode.Having my lunch at the local restaurant facing the mountain was absolutely a perfect day.Later,my visit to Lake Batur that created from the eruption of the mountain just added some sugar to the trip.

    5. Beaches

Famous among the tourist, Kuta Beach has become a favourite for everyone who looks for water sport. The beach stretches as far as the eyes can see.The waves are suitable for surfing, that's one of the reason why the beach is always packed with surfers all around the world.I was lucky to stay at the hotel nearby the beach.I love to stroll along the beach watching people playing beach soccer, sunbathers in colourful swimsuit, paragliders in the air, masseurs doing their job..what more i can say.The beach is lively with different of activities.Besides Kuta, some other beaches such as Nusa Dua and Jinbaran offer a different panorama where these area preferred by people seeking for quite environment.

    6. Arts & Crafts

Planning to bring something back home, Ubud area, Celuk and Mas village are the right places to go.Ubud is the place to look for amazing and quality painting but cheap in price. While Celuk and Mas village are home to wood carving and silver jewelery that offer variety of hand-made stuff.Watching the locals made the furniture using their own hands was a great experience. It is not an easy stuff but with the skill learned at an early age,the result is superb.

    7. Temples

Hinduism is the most dominant religion being practice in Bali.It is no surprise to see countless of temples around the island.Either it is small or big temple, one thing for sure all of them carry the same Balinese architecture with the wall carving influenced from the ancient Hindu era.My visit to Taman Ayun Temple helped me to know about the Balinese culture and tradition even better.I'm impressed to see the multistoried roof and the surrounding of the temple which seems so peace and harmony.

I believe that Bali has a lot more to offer than what in this list. I wish I will have a chance to visit this Island again and explore another part of it.Bali, see you soon..

Kardashian Sisters’ Beach Bunny Bikini Advert

http://amygrindhouse.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Kardashian-Sisters-Beach-Bunny-Bikini-Picture.jpgGiven that Kim Kardashian gave her clearance sale love doll the thumbs up to be sanitized and used as a Madame Tussauds wax figure, it’s no surprise that this photo of her sisters also got sign-off. All that something with ‘the Kardashian name’ attached needs to get by is T&A, Pocahontas hair, and a fierce pair of boots (that’s enough to distract the letches looking at them, women, and gay men). Nothing else seems to matter, not least what the overall image looks like. Case in point, the monstrosity released by the sisters (as most of their fan-base was getting ready to slide into a 36-hour long coma for the July 4 weekend). Hoping their fans would be too stoned to notice, the sisters released this advert for the new line of bikinis by Beach Bunny swimwear. The Huffington Post notes that Khloe Kardashian is average Wookiee height of 5foot 10; Kim Kardashian is 5foot 2, and Kourtney Kardashian is 5foot tall. Yeah, the person who ‘shopped this shaved 10 inches off her height with gusto previously only show to her penis.

    Exoclick Review

    By:Rayan Shah
Exoclick is yet another PPC network, based out of barcelona Spain. This site offers many types of ways to generate money compared to most PPC networks. They have domain parking, XML feed, search boxes, web portals, and banner ads that can include even a thumbnail image of the products.
According to user’s reports the pay per click is very low. The only reason why someone might be interested in this program, is because of the many ad type choices and because they allow adult ads. The minimum for payout is 10 dollars by Paypal or ePassporte and $100 by check. The referral program pays 5% for life of your referrals earning. Better than most referral programs, but highly unlikely you will keep many in your downline long, with such low earnings.
